She’s a Lady: Introducing the Grande Dame
Hailed by many as the young Brooke Astor of the Gold Coast, the Grande Dame is a lady in the know. A close personal friend of Bootstrap, they once wintered together in Palm Beach, TGD is from a family that hasn’t worked in four generations and probably won’t for ten more.
On the outside, the sparkling diamond of high society, but deep down an uncut gem, she has graciously offered to share her reflections on the seedy underbelly of the beau monde (of which she has made extensive research).
Despite her extracurricular activities she’s done her time in all the right drawing rooms, and under all the right billiard tables. Having spent her share of seasons on the social circuit with highfalutin hussies and adulterous aristocrats TGD is rich, bored and naming names
What was once hallway chatter for the upstairs maids is now fodder for what will surely be one of the most perspicacious social commentaries since Hobbes. With a droll overtone of course…
Kinky Kennedys and vampy Vanderbilts- she’s coming for you…
